Platform Overview

Built for the Rigours of Harvest

Every aspect of the Forager platform is engineered for reliability, efficiency, and ease of use. From the autonomous navigation system to the in-field refrigeration, nothing is left to chance.

Autonomous Navigation

AI-powered person following with RTK GPS. Smart cameras track your pickers — the platform follows them through the rows autonomously.

In-Field Refrigeration

Built-in cold storage keeps picked fruit at optimal temperature from bush to packhouse. Quality preserved, value maintained.

Year-Round Utility

Tow hitch compatibility means the platform works off-season too — slash rows, transport equipment, or serve as a prime mover.

Autonomous Navigation

Precision Path Planning, Every Time

The Forager platform navigates crop rows with centimetre-level precision using RTK GPS and 3D cameras. It maps your field, remembers paths, and adjusts in real time to maintain optimal positioning alongside the canopy for your pickers.

RTK GPS provides 2–10 cm accuracy for precise row following
3D cameras detect obstacles and trigger automatic stops
Emergency stop buttons and remote kill switch for safety
Field mapping done once — robot remembers row layouts season after season

Safety First

The Forager platform meets agricultural machinery safety standards. Multiple redundant safety systems ensure the robot stops immediately if anything unexpected is detected. Operators can take manual control at any time via the onboard panel or remote controller.

Harvesting Workflow

A Better Way to Harvest

Same pickers. Same field. Completely different day.

Traditional Harvesting

1

Pick into buckets in the heat and humidity

Fill 4-5 buckets, leave them on the ground. Tunnels run 10°C above ambient.

2

Carry buckets to sorting station

Collect buckets, carry them to the station, then walk back to the row.

3

Sort berries from buckets into punnets

Spend time hand-picking from buckets into punnets and packing into trays.

4

Walk back and repeat — fruit waits for cold storage

Pallets sit in the heat until a refrigerated truck arrives, often hours after picking.

✗ Hours spent walking and sorting — not picking

✗ Multiple handling of delicate fruit

✗ Fruit sits in heat for hours

With Forager

1

Platform follows you — with a fan keeping you cool

AI tracks your position. No carrying buckets. No heat fatigue. No sorting later.

2

Pull berry off the bush, place in punnet. Done.

Touch fruit once. No buckets. No sorting later.

3

Weigh, box, straight into the fridge

Built-in scale. Box goes into on-board refrigeration immediately. Stays in cold chain to the supermarket.

4

Keep picking — all day

No walking back. No sorting sessions. Pickers spend their time picking.

✓ Zero walking — pickers stay in the rows

✓ Touch fruit once — bush to punnet

✓ Unbroken cold chain from field to shelf

Off-Season Utility

Year-Round Value, Not Just Harvest Season

The Forager platform isn't idle when harvest ends. With standard tow hitch compatibility, it becomes a versatile farm utility vehicle throughout the year.

Slasher Attachment

Mow between rows post-harvest to prepare for next season. The platform provides the power and stability for efficient row maintenance.

Prime Mover

Tow trailers, spreaders, or other equipment around the property. The platform's battery and power take-off support various implements.

Data Logging

Even off-season, the platform's sensors, cameras, and GPS feed data to third-party software for field mapping, yield forecasting, and season planning — the hardware works for you year-round.
